The STM8AL3136TCY: It runs at a 16 MHz core speed and packs 8 KB of Flash program memory, 2K x 8 of RAM, and 1K x 8 of EEPROM on-chip. The 32-LQFP package (7x7 mm) exposes 30 I/O lines and a rich set of peripherals including a 22-channel 12-bit ADC, a single 12-bit DAC, and connectivity options spanning I²C, IrDA, LINbus, SPI, and UART/USART.

This means STMicroelectronics continues to manufacture the part for existing production programs but advises against starting new designs with it. For a BOM line already qualified, the NRND flag is a supply-chain signal: plan for a last-time-buy window or a pin-compatible migration within the STM8A family.
Memory and peripheral fit for small-footprint control loops
