The core runs at 16 MHz, and the 32 KB Flash program memory is paired with 2 KB RAM and 1 KB EEPROM — enough for a body-control module, a LIN-based actuator node, or a sensor-fusion hub that logs calibration data to the EEPROM.

The 1 KB EEPROM is a separate block from Flash, not emulated — useful for storing fault codes, trim values, or VIN fragments without wearing the program memory. The 7-channel 10-bit ADC covers analog sensor inputs like throttle position or thermistor lines. On the serial side, the part includes I²C, SPI, LINbus, and UART/USART interfaces. LIN is the typical choice for low-cost automotive subnets (window lift, seat control), while I²C and SPI handle on-board sensor or memory communication.
