AEC-Q100 grade and temperature range
The 125 °C upper limit covers under-hood locations and engine-bay thermal profiles. An OEM auditor will expect PPAP documentation; the AEC-Q100 listing satisfies that gate.
Memory footprint and field updates
16 KB Flash and 512 x 8 EEPROM provide enough storage for small control firmware with calibration tables. The EEPROM allows field parameter updates without wearing the Flash. Firmware updates over LIN or UART are feasible if the bootloader fits in the reserved Flash sector — plan the memory map early to avoid a respin.
