NRND — plan your last-time buy now
The STM8AF6246UDY: For existing production, this means the part remains available through the independent channel, but new BOMs should qualify a pin-compatible successor before the last-time-buy window closes.
Automotive-grade 8-bit core for harsh environments
Program memory is 16 KB Flash with 2 KB RAM and 512 bytes of EEPROM — enough for small control loops, LIN-node firmware, or calibration data that must survive power loss. The EEPROM eliminates the need for external nonvolatile storage in many body-electronics designs. Connectivity covers I²C, LINbus, SPI, and UART/USART — LINbus is the standard for automotive body networks, while SPI and I²C handle local sensor or actuator links. Seven 10-bit ADC channels are on board.
Package and footprint for dense boards
Housed in a 32-VFQFN exposed pad package (5x5 mm body), the STM8AF6246UDY offers 25 I/Os in a compact footprint suited to space-constrained automotive PCBs. Surface-mount only.
