The 128 KB Flash is sized for mid-complexity automotive body-control or LIN-node firmware, with the 6 KB RAM handling stack and moderate data buffers. The separate 2 KB EEPROM (not emulated Flash) stores calibration constants and fault logs without wear-leveling overhead — a real advantage over parts that require EEPROM emulation in Flash.
CAN, LIN, I2C, UART — the connectivity set for automotive subnets
Built-in CAN and LIN controllers let this MCU talk directly on vehicle body and powertrain buses without an external transceiver interface chip (though a transceiver is still needed for the physical layer). The I2C and UART ports handle local sensor and actuator links. With 25 I/O, it covers a typical mix of switch inputs, PWM outputs, and diagnostic lines.
