STM8AF5269TAX — automotive 8-bit MCU with CAN and LIN
24 MHz core with 52 I/O in a 64-LQFP
The 24 MHz clock speed is the ceiling for this 8-bit STM8A core — it drives the flash wait-state configuration and sets the throughput for CAN message handling and ADC sampling. With 52 general-purpose I/O lines brought out to a 64-LQFP (10x10 mm) package, the part offers enough pins to capture multiple sensor inputs and drive local actuators without an external GPIO expander. The wide 3V to 5.5V supply range means it can sit directly on an automotive battery rail (with appropriate transients handled) or a regulated 3.3V logic supply.
That means STMicroelectronics is not actively promoting it for new projects, though it remains available for existing production runs through the independent distribution channel.
