Threshold selection and reset behaviour
The STM811LW16F: The 4.63 V trip point is the key fit parameter — it sits just below a nominal 5 V supply, so the supervisor catches brownout conditions before the downstream logic loses its state. Reset is active-low with a push-pull output stage, which means it drives the reset line low directly without needing an external pull-up resistor. The reset timeout is a minimum of 140 ms after the supply recovers above the threshold, giving the system clock and core logic time to stabilise before the processor starts executing.
Housed in a SOT-143-4 package (supplier device package SOT-143-4), the STM811LW16F occupies minimal board area and is suited for compact designs where a supervisor is needed alongside the main processor. The single-voltage monitoring channel keeps the pin count low and the layout simple.
The part carries full manufacturer traceability and warranty backing.
