The STM707M6F: RoHS3 compliant, no restricted substances or exemption expiry to track for EU or UKCA markets.
4.63V threshold — 5V rail watchdog fit
The 4.63V threshold is a standard monitor point for a 5V supply rail — the supervisor asserts reset when the rail drops below this level, protecting the downstream processor or logic from brownout or transient undervoltage. Reset timeout is 140ms minimum, long enough for the supply and the processor's oscillator to stabilise after a power-on event before releasing the reset line. The output is push-pull/totem pole, so no external pull-up resistor is needed on the reset line — the driver sources and sinks current directly.
Dual-polarity reset — Active High and Active Low
The STM707M6F provides both Active High and Active Low reset outputs from a single package. This covers processors that require a logic-high reset signal and those that need a logic-low, without adding an inverter or a second supervisor. Single-voltage monitoring means one rail, one supervisor — no daisy-chain complexity for multi-rail systems.
8-SOIC narrow-body — standard footprint
Housed in an 8-SOIC narrow-body package (, 0.154" width, 3.90mm), the part uses a standard surface-mount footprint that mates with common SOIC-8 land patterns. The supplier device package is 8-SOIC.
