The STM32L476RGT3: ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit MCU at 80 MHz with 1 MB Flash and 128K x 8 RAM.
The 64-LQFP (10x10 mm) package with 51 I/O gives a reasonable pin count for a mixed-signal control board without needing a BGA reflow process. The exposed pad (if present on the LQFP variant) should be stitched to ground with thermal vias to keep junction temperature within limits at the 125°C end of the range.
The base product number STM32L476 spans multiple density and package options, so if a board later needs a smaller Flash or a different pin count, the migration stays within the same peripheral set and register map.

Brown-out detect and reset, DMA, and a watchdog timer are integrated, which reduces external supervisor IC count. The internal oscillator trims to within a few percent across temperature, but for a precision timebase — say, a CAN bus with tight bit-timing — an external crystal is still the safer call.
