The 32-UFQFPN package (5x5 mm) with exposed pad fits tight PCB layouts in portable or industrial sensor nodes.
The 26 available GPIOs, combined with DMA, a PWM timer, brown-out detection, and a watchdog, cover most sensor-fusion or motor-control feedback tasks without an external companion chip.
It is not qualified for automotive under-hood (125°C) or extended military environments, but the wide supply tolerance and low-power sleep modes make it a strong fit for field-deployed edge nodes that see seasonal temperature swings.
For new designs, this means no supply-chain risk from a looming EOL.
