The STM32G474QET6 is an STMicroelectronics 32-bit MCU built around an ARM Cortex-M4F core with hardware floating-point unit, clocked at 170 MHz. The 42-channel 12-bit ADC array lets you sample all three phase currents plus the DC link in a single trigger event, and the seven 12-bit DAC channels can spit out analog set points or offset trim voltages without external converters.
I/O and connectivity — 107 pins, CAN, QSPI
With 107 I/O lines in a 128-LQFP package, this MCU can talk to a lot of the outside world directly — parallel LCDs, encoder interfaces, multiple UARTs for daisy-chained drives. The connectivity set includes CANbus, I²C, SPI, QSPI, UART/USART, IrDA, and LINbus, which covers industrial fieldbus bridging and sensor aggregation without extra transceivers on the same die. The QSPI interface is handy for memory-mapped external Flash or PSRAM if the 128 KB internal RAM runs short for a frame buffer or data logger.
It is a current-production part in the STM32G4 series, so there is no end-of-life clock ticking on new designs.
