The STM32G071RBT6: The 64-LQFP package (10x10 mm) gives 60 I/O lines, enough for a sensor hub or a motor-control interface without external GPIO expanders. The headline feature is integrated USB Type-C with Power Delivery support — the PD PHY lives on-chip, so a USB-C port with power negotiation needs no external controller. That saves BOM cost and board area in a charging dock or a power-bank design.
Memory, peripherals, and the analog front-end
The 128 KB Flash is backed by a 36 K x 8 SRAM — enough for a real-time control loop with a moderate data buffer. The DMA engine offloads peripheral transfers so the CPU can stay in sleep longer between events. For a temperature or pressure sensor interface, the ADC resolves 4096 steps across the full-scale range; the DACs can generate analog setpoints or reference voltages without external components. The two I²S channels handle audio streaming or a codec link.
