The 512 KB of Flash and 256 KB of RAM (organized as 256K x 8) give you room for a real-time OS, communications stacks, and a decent data buffer — enough for a CANopen node with a UI or a sensor fusion algorithm logging at a few kilohertz.
Brown-out detect and POR are integrated, so the supply monitor is one less thing to add to the BOM.
100-LQFP — footprint and rework
The 100-LQFP package (14 x 14 mm body) is a standard fine-pitch QFP with 0.5 mm lead pitch. It is a rework-friendly footprint — no BGA underfill or x-ray inspection needed.
