180 MHz Cortex-M4 with FPU — compute headroom for display and connectivity
Peripherals include a TFT LCD controller, DMA, PWM timers, and a full set of brown-out detect/reset and POR — the LCD interface is what distinguishes this part from the plain STM32F405 line. With 140 I/O lines in the 176-LQFP package, you can route a parallel LCD, an Ethernet PHY, and a CAN transceiver without multiplexing conflicts.
It is not AEC-Q100 qualified, so it does not belong in an automotive under-hood or chassis-domain BOM.
176-LQFP — rework and layout notes
The 176-LQFP (24x24 mm body) has a 0.4 mm pitch — fine enough that a misplaced via under the toe of the lead can cause a solder bridge.
