It is built for applications that need a balance of DSP throughput and peripheral integration — motor drives, industrial PLCs, HMI panels with embedded LCD, and Ethernet-connected gateways.
The 169-UFBGA package measures 7x7 mm — a compact BGA that saves board area but requires at least a 4-layer PCB with microvias for fanout.
Peripherals and data converters
On-chip data conversion includes 24 analog inputs with 12-bit resolution and two 12-bit DACs, enough for multi-channel sensor acquisition or closed-loop analog control. The peripheral set covers brown-out detection, DMA, I²S for audio, LCD controller, PWM timers, and a watchdog — the sort of integrated feature list that saves an external supervisor or codec IC.
