Core architecture and memory — what the 100 MHz Cortex-M4 and 1 MB Flash deliver
The 1 MB on-chip Flash and 320 KB SRAM provide enough headroom for a real-time control loop with a moderate data buffer, a protocol stack (USB OTG, CAN, Ethernet via external PHY), and a small filesystem. The 114 I/O in a 144-LQFP package gives you the pin count to route a parallel LCD or an external memory bus without multiplexing everything.
Peripheral set — connectivity for industrial and audio systems
This MCU integrates CANbus, I²C, SPI, UART/USART, USB OTG, and a Quad-SPI interface for fast external memory. The brown-out detect, POR, and watchdog peripherals are standard for unattended industrial controllers.
The 144-LQFP (20x20 mm body) is a JEDEC-standard fine-pitch package that reflows with a typical lead-free profile. Surface-mount only, as expected for this form factor.
