100 MHz Cortex-M4 with DSP and FPU
The ARM Cortex-M4 core includes a single-cycle multiply-accumulate unit and a single-precision floating-point unit, so the 100 MHz clock delivers real throughput for FOC motor control, digital power-loop compensation, or audio processing via the I²S peripheral.
The 10-channel 12-bit ADC and single 12-bit DAC cover basic analog front-end needs, though the ADC sample rate is not listed here so plan for moderate-speed acquisition.
The supplier device package is 48-UFQFPN (7x7) — same footprint, different supplier abbreviation. Surface-mount only, so hand-prototyping needs a hot-air station with a fine nozzle. The internal oscillator means you can skip an external crystal for basic clocking, but the internal RC accuracy (±1 % typical) may drift enough to disqualify it for precision timing or USB full-speed without calibration.
That means it is still a safe choice for new production builds and long-term BOM commitments.
