Mixed-signal Cortex-M4 with three 16-bit ADCs
The 48-LQFP package keeps the board footprint compact, with 36 I/O lines and standard connectivity including CAN, I²C, SPI, and USART.
Most MCUs in this footprint offer a single 12-bit ADC. The STM32F373CCT6 dedicates three independent 16-bit SAR ADCs, which can run simultaneous conversions on different channels without external sample-and-hold or multiplexer stages. For a three-phase motor drive, that means one ADC per phase current — no timing skew to compensate in firmware. The three 12-bit DAC outputs can drive analog setpoints or reference voltages directly. If the design needs more than one high-resolution analog input, this part saves a separate ADC chip and its associated level-shifting and reference circuitry.
ROHS3 compliant. The date-code and marking traceability should be verified against ST's factory format — the laser etch on the 48-LQFP body is a fingerprint that counterfeit lots often get wrong.
