STM32F334K8U6 — 72 MHz Cortex-M4 for real-time control
The 72 MHz Cortex-M4 core with DSP instructions and FPU handles the math for field-oriented motor control or multi-phase PFC loops without an external co-processor. The 10-channel 12-bit ADC and three 12-bit DACs give enough analog front-end for current sensing and reference outputs in a single-chip control loop.
Peripheral set and connectivity for industrial buses
On-chip peripherals include DMA, POR, PWM, and WDT — the PWM timers are the key enabler for generating complementary dead-time-controlled gate drive signals. With 25 I/O pins in a 32-pin package, every pin earns its keep. The supply range of 2V to 3.6V lets it run from a 3.3V rail or a pair of alkaline cells, though the 72 MHz clock will pull more current at the higher voltage.
