72 MHz Cortex-M4 with 384 KB Flash — fit for mixed-signal control loops
The STM32F302VDT6 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 MCU from the STM32F3 series, built for real-time control applications that blend digital logic with analog signal chain integration. The 72 MHz core with single-cycle multiply and hardware divide handles sensor fusion loops and motor-control commutation without an external DSP. 384 KB of Flash and 64 KB of RAM support moderate firmware footprints — enough for a CANopen stack, a USB device interface, and a few PID loops. On-chip data converters — 17-channel 12-bit ADC and a single 12-bit DAC — reduce external analog front-end components for current sensing, temperature monitoring, or analog output trimming. The 86 GPIOs in a 100-LQFP package leave room for parallel displays or multiple encoder interfaces.
