Supply range and power rail decisions
Vcc range is 2.0 V to 3.6 V, so a single 3.3 V rail with ±10% tolerance stays inside the envelope even during brownout transients. The POR (power-on reset) peripheral is integrated, eliminating the external reset supervisor in many designs. Internal oscillator is on-die, but for CAN or USB operation a precision external crystal is still the safer clock source — the internal RC is adequate for UART and general-purpose timing.
