What this STM32F101VFT6 brings to the BOM
The STM32F101VFT6 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller from STMicroelectronics, part of the STM32F1 value-line family. It runs at 36 MHz, has 768 KB of Flash program memory, and 80 KB of RAM — enough for moderate control firmware with data logging or communication stacks. The 100-LQFP package gives you 80 usable I/O pins, plus a full set of peripherals: DMA, multiple PWMs, watchdog timers, and a temperature sensor. On the analog side, it integrates 16 channels of 12-bit ADC and two 12-bit DACs, so you can handle sensor inputs and analog outputs without external converter chips. Connectivity covers I²C, SPI, UART/USART, IrDA, and LIN — enough for industrial fieldbus gateways or multi-protocol serial interfaces.
Industrial temperature grade and deployment fit
Rated for -40 to 85 °C, this MCU is suited for factory automation panels, outdoor telecom cabinets, and HVAC controllers. Not qualified for under-hood automotive.
