Memory and peripheral fit for small-footprint firmware
16 KB Flash and 4 KB SRAM set the firmware budget: enough for a modest bootloader, a scheduler or state machine, and a few peripheral drivers. The 4 KB SRAM limits buffering — a full Ethernet or USB stack is out of scope, but UART command parsers, Modbus RTU slaves, or sensor fusion loops fit. The 15 I/O lines in the 20-TSSOP package leave room for a few external signals alongside the serial buses and ADC inputs.
The operating temperature grade is industrial, not automotive — no AEC-Q100 qualification, so it is not intended for under-hood or chassis-mounted electronics.
