Cortex-M0 workhorse for cost-sensitive control
The STM32F030CCT6TR: It targets cost-optimized embedded control applications — motor drives, sensor hubs, industrial I/O modules, and consumer appliance controllers — where the balance of processing throughput and peripheral integration matters more than raw MIPS. The 48-LQFP package (7x7 mm body) gives 39 accessible I/Os, enough for a modest keypad, display, or fieldbus interface without needing a larger footprint.
At 48 MHz the Cortex-M0 core executes most single-cycle instructions.
The built-in POR (power-on reset) and BOR (brownout reset) handle supply sequencing without an external supervisor IC — one less line item on the BOM.
The peripheral set includes two I²C interfaces, two SPIs, and up to six UART/USARTs. The 12-bit ADC has 12 channels.
