Switching energy and gate drive budget
Tested at 400 V, 15 A with a 10 Ohm gate resistor and 15 V gate drive, the part switches with 136 µJ turn-on energy and 207 µJ turn-off energy. Turn-on delay is 24.5 ns and turn-off delay is 118 ns at 25°C, giving a clean switching waveform that reduces EMI filter burden in a hard-switched bridge leg.
Junction temperature range and thermal design
Maximum power dissipation is 30 W; the actual continuous current the part can carry depends on the heatsink's thermal resistance and the allowable junction temperature rise above ambient.
