Switching and drive parametrics
The STD3NK90ZT4: Gate charge totals 22.7 nC at 10V — the driver must supply this per switching cycle; at 100 kHz the average gate drive current is 2.27 mA, well within a standard gate-driver IC. Input capacitance is 590 pF at 25V drain-source, which together with the gate resistance sets the turn-on and turn-off delay times. The gate threshold voltage maximum is 4.5V at 50 µA drain current, so a 10V gate drive rail is needed to reach the specified minimum Rds(on). The ±30V maximum gate-source rating provides headroom for drive overshoot.
Thermal and package fit
Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) formats for automated pick-and-place assembly. The base product number STD3NK90 identifies the family for cross-referencing.
