24 V, 150 A N-channel — what the STripFET III delivers
The STMicroelectronics STD150NH02L-1 is a low-voltage N-channel power MOSFET from the STripFET™ III generation, built with a planar stripe layout that keeps the on-resistance low. Rated for 24 V drain-to-source and 150 A continuous drain at 25°C case temperature, it hits a maximum Rds(on) of 3.5 mOhm when driven with 10 V on the gate — the 5 V / 10 V drive voltage spec means it turns fully on with either logic-level or standard gate drive, but the 3.5 mOhm figure is quoted at 10 V.
Through-hole TO-251 — legacy footprint, still serviceable
The STD150NH02L-1 comes in a through-hole TO-251-3 package (I-Pak, short leads), which is a smaller three-lead sibling of the DPAK with a tab that gets soldered or bolted to the board or heatsink. The I-Pak footprint is common on older automotive and industrial boards; if you are retrofitting a failed unit, the scorch mark on the tab tells you whether the die shorted or the package cracked. The through-hole mount means rework with a soldering iron is straightforward, unlike an SMD part that needs hot air.
STMicroelectronics has ended production; there is no listed successor order code in the ledger.
