600W bidirectional TVS in a DO-214AA package
With a peak pulse power rating of 600W (10/1000µs waveform) and a clamping voltage of 93.6V at 6.7A, it provides a defined protection level for general-purpose power and signal lines. The DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package suits automated assembly for industrial and telecom boards.
Clamping voltage and breakdown tolerance
The 93.6V maximum clamping voltage at the rated 6.7A peak pulse current tells you the highest voltage the protected circuit will see during a surge event. The minimum breakdown voltage is 64.4V, so the device starts conducting between 58V (standoff) and 64.4V, leaving a guard band of about 6.4V above the working rail. That margin keeps the TVS out of conduction during normal 58V operation while still clamping early enough to protect downstream semiconductors rated for 100V or less.
No power line protection feature is built in — this is a transient suppressor, not a crowbar or a filter.
It is RoHS compliant per the standard lead-free directive. For automotive-grade requirements, verify AEC-Q101 qualification separately — the general-purpose listing does not guarantee automotive release.
