400W bidirectional TVS for general-purpose transient protection
It delivers 400W peak pulse power (10/1000µs waveform) with a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a maximum clamping voltage of 32.5V at 71A peak pulse current. The single bidirectional channel protects against surges of either polarity, making it suitable for AC inputs, data lines, and DC rails where reverse-voltage events are possible.
The minimum breakdown voltage of 16.7V ensures the device starts conducting before the protected circuitry sees damaging overvoltage. The 32.5V maximum clamp is the peak voltage the load sees during a surge — design the downstream components with at least that margin. At 15V reverse standoff the part is effectively an open circuit below that threshold, so it won't load a 12V or 15V rail in normal operation.
