Clamping voltage and pulse current — sizing the protection
The 134V clamping voltage at the 30A (8/20µs waveform) peak pulse current sets the upper limit the protected circuitry must survive. For a 12V automotive rail, the 64.1V standoff gives enough headroom above normal battery voltage including load dump transients.
