Low gate drive, 400 V blocking — Sensitive Gate SCR for logic-level triggering
The STMicroelectronics P0102DA 1AA3 is a Sensitive Gate SCR rated for 400 V off-state blocking and 800 mA RMS on-state current. Housed in a TO-92-3 through-hole package (TO-226AA), it suits wave-solder or hand-assembly on single-sided boards. The 5 mA max holding current keeps the SCR latched under light loads typical of relay coils, solenoid valves, or small incandescent lamps.
With a 1.95 V max on-state voltage at 800 mA RMS, conduction loss runs about 1.6 W — the TO-92 package dissipates that in free air at 25°C ambient; at 125°C junction limit the current must be derated. The 8 A non-repetitive surge capability (60 Hz, one cycle) handles capacitive inrush or cold-filament loads without exceeding the die's surge rating. Off-state leakage is 10 µA max at rated voltage — negligible in most circuits.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant — sourcing posture
ROHS3 compliance (2011/65/EU + 2015/863) covers all six original substances plus the four phthalates. Supplied in Bag packaging — loose units, not tape-and-reel. That signals a low-volume or prototyping inventory profile. For production quantities, confirm the packaging preference (tube or ammo pack) at quote time.
