What this 32Kbit I²C EEPROM brings to the board
The M24C32-WMN6P is a 32Kbit serial EEPROM from STMicroelectronics, organized as 4K × 8 and accessed over an I²C bus running up to 1 MHz. That 1 MHz clock means a full 32Kbit page read completes in about 32 ms — fast enough for configuration storage or parameter logging in a motor drive or outdoor controller.
The M24C32-WMN6P is still orderable through distribution channels; we can quote it against your BOM quantity. For new designs, plan on the M24C32-R series or a pin-compatible 32Kbit I²C EEPROM from a second source.
Package and footprint — 8-SOIC
The 450 ns access time is the random read access — the I²C bus protocol adds addressing overhead, but the memory itself responds within that window.
