16 Kbit I²C EEPROM in an 8-TSSOP
The STMicroelectronics M24C16-RDW6TP is a 16 Kbit serial EEPROM with an I²C interface, organized as 2K x 8 bits. The 400 kHz bus clock and 900 ns access time are standard for the M24C16 family, and the 5 ms write cycle time (word or page) suits moderate-rate parameter storage in industrial control, telecom, and consumer equipment.
At 1.8 V the part still meets the 400 kHz I²C timing, useful for low-power battery-backed systems. The I²C interface is open-drain, so the bus pull-up resistors must be sized for the lowest Vcc in the system — at 1.8 V a 2.2 kΩ pull-up to 1.8 V keeps rise times within spec.

Store the reels in a dry cabinet below 30°C / 60% RH to avoid any risk of moisture absorption over long shelf life.
For dual-sourcing, the M24C16-RMC6TG is a functional equivalent in a different package (UFDFPN8), while the M24C16-FMH6TG operates down to 1.7 V.
