16Kbit I2C EEPROM for parameter storage
The STMicroelectronics M24C16-FMC5TG is a 16Kbit serial EEPROM organized as 2K x 8 bits, accessed via an I2C bus at up to 400 kHz. It stores calibration tables, device configuration, or firmware parameters that need field updates without a battery backup.
The 900 ns access time is the read-cycle time for a byte from the memory array; the I2C bus runs at 400 kHz. The 5 ms write-cycle time per page means a full 16-byte page write takes 5 ms.
