2Kbit I²C EEPROM in a 1.7×1.4 mm footprint
The STMicroelectronics M24C02-FMH6TG is a 2Kbit serial EEPROM with an I²C interface, organized as 256 x 8 bits. The 400 kHz clock frequency and 900 ns access time are standard for this density class. The 5-UFDFN package (1.7x1.4 mm body) is a space-saving option for compact PCBs — useful in sensor modules, portable instrumentation, and IoT edge nodes where board area is tight.
The 1.7V minimum supply lets this part run directly from a single Li-ion cell (3.0–4.2 V) or a 1.8V digital rail without a boost regulator. At 5.5V max it also tolerates legacy 5V buses. The 400 kHz I²C clock is the standard fast-mode rate; the 900 ns access time is the read-cycle limit the master must wait for before clocking out data. The 5 ms write cycle time (word or page) is typical for this process node — the host firmware should poll for the write-complete acknowledge or insert a 5 ms delay after each write command.
The ROHS3 compliance covers current environmental regulations.
