6-axis sensor fusion in a 2.5×3 mm LGA
The LSM6DSRTR is a 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) from ST's iNEMO series, integrating a 3D accelerometer, 3D gyroscope, and temperature sensor in a single 14-VFLGA module measuring 2.5×3 mm. Digital output is available over I²C or SPI, giving the system designer flexibility to share the bus with other sensors or to use the higher throughput of SPI for time-critical motion data.
The exposed pad on the underside should be soldered to a thermal land on the PCB to keep the die temperature within the operating range during sustained vibration sensing.
