What this dual CMOS op-amp brings to the board
The STMicroelectronics LMC6482IST is a dual CMOS operational amplifier with rail-to-rail output, packaged in an 8-MiniSO (MSOP-8) footprint. It delivers a gain-bandwidth product of 2.7 MHz and a slew rate of 1.4 V/µs, drawing 660 µA per dual channel.
660 µA supply, 1 pA bias — low-power precision front-end
At 660 µA for both amplifiers, the LMC6482IST is a low-power choice for multi-channel data-acquisition boards or portable instruments. The 1 pA input bias current minimizes voltage offset errors from source resistance.
30 mA output current — driving loads and references
For heavier loads, buffer the output with a transistor stage.
There is no official second-source alternate in the ledger, but the TSV912IDT (8 MHz, 4.5 V/µs, also dual, rail-to-rail, -40 to 125°C) is a higher-speed functional alternative if the design can accommodate a different GBW and slew rate.
