5 V fixed LDO for noise-sensitive, wide-temperature rails
The ON Semiconductor LM2931AD50R is a single-output positive LDO regulator delivering a fixed 5 V at up to 100 mA. The junction temperature rating of -40 to 125 °C covers under-hood automotive and industrial enclosures. Input voltage can go to 26 V, so it tolerates unregulated or lightly pre-regulated rails.
Protection and package
Built-in current limit and thermal shutdown protect against output shorts and overloads. The 8-SOIC (3.90 mm width) is a standard surface-mount footprint, compatible with automated assembly.
No end-of-life notice or LTB window is indicated. For dual-sourcing or supply resilience, the LD39020DTPU33R is a 3.3 V fixed-output LDO with similar PSRR and a 200 mA rating — note the different output voltage and lower input limit (5.5 V max).
