The STMicroelectronics LM2903Q2T is a dual differential comparator that operates across a 2V to 36V single-supply range or ±1V to ±18V dual supplies, making it equally at home on a 3.3V logic rail or a 24V industrial bus without needing a secondary regulator. The open-collector output stage sinks 16mA typical at 5V and can drive CMOS, TTL, DTL, or ECL logic families directly, which simplifies the glue logic between a sensor front-end and a microcontroller input.

Supply flexibility and quiescent budget

Maximum quiescent current is 2.5mA across the full temperature range; for a dual comparator running continuously on a 24V supply, that keeps the self-heating low enough that the package doesn't need forced airflow.

DFN package and board-level fit

Housed in an 8-UFDFN with exposed pad measuring 2x2 mm (supplier device package 8-DFN), the LM2903Q2T saves board area compared to an SOIC-8 while the pad provides a low-thermal-resistance path to the PCB copper for heat spreading.
