Dual comparator that ran hot — and now runs scarce
What set it apart from the standard LM2903 was its 150°C maximum junction temperature — 25°C higher than the commercial-grade parts, making it a fit for engine-bay electronics, downhole tools, or industrial ovens where the ambient air hits triple digits. Input bias current maxes at 0.25µA at 5V, and input offset voltage is 7mV max at 30V — typical numbers for a general-purpose comparator, but the wide supply and temperature range are the selection drivers.
The closest pin-compatible alternative within the LM2903 family is the LM2903DT, but that part is rated to 105°C, not 150°C. Verify the ambient temperature in your application before substituting.

Quiescent current is 2.5mA max for both comparators, and each output can sink 16mA at 5V — enough to drive a logic input or an LED indicator directly.
