Quad op-amp in 14-TSSOP — board-area economics
Each amplifier delivers rail-to-rail output swing, which matters when the signal headroom is tight — for example, driving the full input range of a 3.3 V ADC without a separate level shifter.
The supply span runs from 3 V to 36 V, so this part works on a 5 V PLC backplane or a 24 V industrial sensor bus without a separate regulator.
Slew rate and bandwidth — signal-chain limits
With a 1.2 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.75 V/µs slew rate, the LM2902BYPT handles slow-moving sensor signals (thermocouples, pressure transducers, 4-20 mA loops) but will distort fast pulse trains above roughly 50 kHz at full output swing. For higher-frequency conditioning — say, a 100 kHz PWM feedback signal — a faster op-amp family would be a better fit.
