The STMicroelectronics LDL212PUR is an adjustable positive LDO regulator delivering up to 1.2 A from a 6-VDFN Exposed Pad package. Its headline feature is the power-supply rejection ratio: 87 dB at 120 Hz, rolling off to 50 dB at 100 kHz. The 0.6 V maximum dropout at the full 1.2 A load means a 3.3 V output needs only 3.9 V input at worst case, so it runs comfortably off a 5 V rail with margin for cable drop or cold-crank sag.
1.2 A in a 3x3 DFN — thermal planning
The 6-DFN (3x3 mm) package with exposed pad is the only mechanical option. Without that thermal stitch, junction temperature will exceed the 125 °C rating well before 1.2 A. Enable control and protection features (over-current, over-temperature, UVLO) are all on-chip; no external supervisor needed.
The adjustable output (1.18 V minimum, 17.4 V maximum) covers a wide range of rail voltages from a single inventory line item.
