Regulator fit for sensor supply rails
The LDK220PU-R is an adjustable positive LDO from STMicroelectronics delivering 200 mA continuous output. Its PSRR of 60 dB at 120 Hz dropping to 45 dB at 10 kHz makes it a candidate for cleaning up a sensor's analog supply from a switching pre-regulator — the 60 dB floor at line frequency knocks down 120 Hz ripple from a flyback before it reaches the ADC reference. Maximum dropout is 350 mV at the full 200 mA load, so the input rail must sit at least 350 mV above the target output voltage at the worst-case current. Quiescent current is 90 µA typical, rising to a 100 µA maximum — low enough that a battery-powered sensor node can leave the LDO enabled during a brief measurement burst without draining the cell.
Package and board-level integration
Housed in a 6-XFDFN (1.2 x 1.3 mm) package, the LDK220PU-R occupies a footprint roughly the size of a 0402 resistor. Surface-mount only, available on Tape & Reel or Cut Tape. The enable pin lets the system designer gate the output — pull it low to put the regulator into shutdown, cutting the supply current to near zero for the sleep phase of a duty-cycled sensor.
