Adjustable LDO for post-regulation — 800 mA, DPAK

It delivers up to 800 mA output current with a maximum dropout voltage of 1.2 V at full load. A single internal regulator — one channel, positive output only. The 75 dB power-supply rejection ratio at 120 Hz tells you this part is designed to clean up the 100/120 Hz ripple from a full-wave rectified mains supply — common in appliance PSUs, industrial control boards, and office equipment where the raw DC rail comes from a line-frequency transformer and capacitor. Dropout and headroom — what the 1.2 V max means for your rail

The 1.2 V dropout at 800 mA is the worst-case voltage difference between input and output needed to maintain regulation.
