The IPS2050HQ operates from 8V to 60V, so it can run directly on 12V, 24V, or 48V rails without an intermediate regulator — a single BOM line covers multiple platform voltages. Each of the two high-side outputs delivers up to 2.4 A continuous. With a typical on-resistance of 25 mOhm, the voltage drop at full load is under 60 mV, which keeps the package cool enough to avoid a heatsink in most ambient conditions.

On-chip fault coverage

Six fault protections are integrated: fixed current limiting, overload, over-temperature, reverse-current, short-circuit, and UVLO.
