The ST FERD30H100SB-TR is a Field Effect Rectifier Diode (FERD) rated for 100 V reverse voltage and 30 A average rectified current, packaged in a DPAK surface-mount case.
The TO-252-3 (DPAK) package has a large exposed tab on the bottom — the PCB copper area under that tab sets the junction-to-board thermal resistance, so allocate a solid copper pour and vias to the ground plane.
