Five-channel Zener TVS array for automotive signal-line protection
The STMicroelectronics ESDA6V1-5SC6Y is a five-channel Zener-type transient voltage suppressor array in an SOT-23-6 surface-mount package.
Clamping voltage and surge capability
Each of the five unidirectional channels clamps at a maximum of 11.4V at the peak pulse current of 7A (8/20 µs waveform). The total peak pulse power rating is 80W. For a 5V nominal signal rail, the 5.2V standoff provides margin against continuous DC bias, while the 11.4V clamp keeps the transient well below the 15V to 20V absolute maximums typical of automotive-grade CAN, LIN, or sensor interface ICs.
The product status is Active, so there is no near-term obsolescence risk for production programs.
The SOT-23-6 footprint is a common small-outline package for multi-channel protection arrays. Power line protection is not provided — this device is intended for signal-line clamping only.
