The ST ACST1035-8FP is a standard triac rated at 800 V and 10 A, housed in a TO-220FPAB full-pack package. This through-hole device switches AC loads directly — heaters, motors, lighting ballasts, solenoid valves — where a single triac replaces a relay or contactor.

This is a standard triac, not a logic-level or sensitive-gate type.
The TO-220FPAB package is a standard ST footprint, so second-sourcing with a functionally similar triac in the same package is straightforward if supply tightens.
TO-220FPAB — isolated tab, no mica washer needed
The full-pack TO-220-3 has the mounting hole and tab fully encapsulated. No insulating bushings or mica washers are required when bolting to a chassis or heatsink.
