The Skyworks SI8605AC-B-IS1 is a 4-channel I²C digital isolator using capacitive coupling to break ground loops and protect low-voltage logic on the I²C bus. It provides 3750 Vrms isolation between Side 1 and Side 2, with a 3/3 input split — three bidirectional channels for the SDA/SCL lines plus a unidirectional side channel for a clock or data line. Capacitive coupling means lower power and faster edge rates than optocouplers — the 35 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) keeps data intact when a motor drive or inverter switches a few hundred volts in microseconds.

Industrial temperature and board-fit

The 0.154-inch body height clears most potting compounds and conformal coatings.
