The ROHM Semiconductor UMA9NTR packs two PNP transistors with integrated bias resistors into a single UMT5 package. Each transistor has a 10kΩ resistor in series with the base and a 10kΩ resistor from base to emitter, so the pair turns on when the base drive exceeds about 0.7 V at the input node — no external base resistors needed. Collector-emitter breakdown is rated at 50 V, continuous collector current at 100 mA, and the 250 MHz transition frequency supports switching applications up into the low-MHz range. Total package dissipation is 150 mW, which sets the thermal budget in a dense layout.
Package and footprint fit
The UMA9NTR is supplied in a surface-mount UMT5 package (also designated 5-TSSOP, SC-70-5, SOT-353). The five-pin footprint is shared across ROHM's UMT5 pre-biased transistor family, so the same PCB land pattern works for both PNP and NPN variants. Shipping options include Tape & Reel and Cut Tape.
Lifecycle and compliance
The part is RoHS3 compliant.
